Swanbourne Lake

Swanbourne Lake is a lovely spot for a slower-paced walk with your dog on the edge of Arundel. Lily enjoyed taking her time around the lake, stopping to sniff along the waterside paths and keeping a close eye on the ducks along the way. The route is easy to follow and mostly flat, making it ideal for a relaxed stroll, while the nearby paths through Arundel Park offer the option to extend your walk if you fancy exploring further. We found ourselves slowing down here and simply enjoying the views across the water. If you are planning a longer outing, The Black Rabbit is just a short walk or drive away and makes a great stop afterwards with your pup.

Dogs should be kept on a lead between March and September to help protect the wildlife around the lake. If your dog enjoys watching ducks as much as Lily does, you will want to keep an eye on them along the route.
