Castle Cottage Tearoom

Castle Cottage Tearoom sits right beside the historic walls of Pevensey Castle, making it an easy stop after exploring the dog-friendly castle grounds. We visited after our walk and loved this cosy cottage cafe, complete with its bright yellow door and outdoor garden seating. Lily was warmly welcomed while we enjoyed a slice of gluten-free lemon drizzle cake and a well-earned rest. It felt like a relaxed place to slow down before heading home. If you’re visiting Pevensey Castle with your dog, it’s well worth popping in for coffee, cake or a light bite. We’d happily return after another castle wander.
