The Pilot Inn
The Pilot Inn gave us a relaxed spot to stop for lunch with Lily, with dogs welcome inside in the traditional bar area. There were plenty of tables and Lily happily settled on the floor beside us while we ate. We enjoyed the grilled chicken satay skewer with salad and chips, along with the prawn special that was on that day. Dogs do need to stay on the floor here and aren’t permitted on the sofas, even with a blanket. There’s also a spacious garden if you fancy sitting outside with your dog when the weather is warmer!
The Pilot Inn can get busy, so we’d recommend booking ahead, particularly if you’re hoping to eat inside with your dog. Dogs aren’t allowed on the sofas, so bringing a mat or blanket for the floor can give them a comfy spot to settle.
